Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. -Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.Hearing Resource Teacher - Grades K-12 (POSTING NUMBER T2425-010 - Round 1)1.0 FTE temporary contract, starting September 3, 2024 or upon completion of the posting process to June 27, 2025 or return of the incumbent.Must have a Master's Degree recognized by the BC Teacher Regulation Branch involving major study in deafness and hearing loss. Must be eligible for certification as a Teacher of the Deaf by the CanadianAssociation of Educators of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CAEDHH). It would be considered an asset to have proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
