Hospitality Lead / Front Of House Supervisor

Timber Run Golf Club & Event Lodge is home to an 18-hole golf course located within the Lanark Highlands, along the banks of the Clyde River. With spectacular scenic views, see nature at its best.

Our beautiful 10,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with vaulted ceiling, curving staircase and stone fireplace provides a wonderful setting year-round for weddings, banquets, private parties, and golf tournaments.

Golf and events are our business. We are now hiring for the 2024 season.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility for Event Planning (post-sales process) and relationship management

• Develop and manage relationships with external event organizers, identify requirements including menu selections and dietary restrictions, itineraries, decorating, layout and setup, bar service, custom/special requests, event rentals, etc.
• Reserve, obtain, and return event rental items
• Event Setup and FOH presentation lead

Bartending - 20 hrs/week Bar duty

Front of House scheduling, training and supervision, provide service expertise and leadership

Beverage inventory management and ordering

Works in conjunction with Assistant Pro for internal event planning

Develop ideas and create plans for compelling events, launch via marketing channels, and execute effectively

Assist with marketing, communications and Social Media content

Perform other tasks as assigned by Food and Beverage Manager

Must follow health and safety policies and procedures

Skills and Requirements:

Must be able to work a flexible work shift including weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Well organized

Self starter

Strong focus on customer needs and exceptional service delivery

Smart Serve certified

2-5 years bartending experience in bar/restaurant and event formats

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Salary: $22.00 per hour
