Long Point Eco-Adventures is seeking a professional, hard-working and reliable individual to join our team. The FOH Supervisor will be second in command along side to our Restaurant Manager. It is the expectation that the Supervisor will adhere to all specifications and guidelines set out by the Restaurant Manager. We will be offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and catering at the Marshview Patio. The successful candidate will manage daily restaurant activities, reporting and restaurant employees. It is required that the Front of House Supervisor will partake in the 'Eco team environment', and will have the confidence to delegate tasks amongst FOH staff.

FOH Supervisor responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Manage customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Help Food & Beverage Manager with reporting.
- Knowledge of all menus; breakfast, lunch, dinner and catering.
- Knowledge of Norfolk County and surrounding areas.
- Point of Sale Knowledge; training provided.
- Payment Processor Knowledge; training provided.
- Resourcefully solve issues that arise and take control of the problem in the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager.
- Manage and train Front of House staff alongside the F & B Manager in a positive way.
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulation and safety standards.
- Keep watch of inventory and ordering.
- Plan ahead for busy weeks of catering and service.
- Use positive, open and appropriate communication with all staff members.
- Act as an ambassador for Long Point Eco-Adventures both on and off site.

Qualifications:
- Minimum a High School Diploma is required; preference given to those currently enrolled in or graduates of a recognized college/university.
- Candidates must be 18 years old on or before April 1st and Smart Serve Certified
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- 3+ years of restaurant experience.
- Management experience.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Attention to details.
- Thrives in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive and self-motivated.
- Passionate about the restaurant industry.
- Must be available to work year round.

The FOH Supervisor is required to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment. All applicants must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Salary: From $16.75 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
