Job Summary:
We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team as Hostess/Host. As a Hostess/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your main responsibility will be to greet and seat guests, ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist in managing waitlists and reservations
- Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, specials, and promotions
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations
- Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations is a plus
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems is an advantage
