The Role

Winter Preparation, Summer Inspiration: As our Housekeeping Manager, you'll embrace the unique seasonal rhythm of Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge. Your journey begins in April , offering an opportunity to become acquainted with the lodge. During this season, you’ll work with our team, nurture local operator relationships, and assist in assembling the dynamic housekeeping team for the upcoming summer season. As a vital member of our dedicated team, you’ll embrace flexibility, readily supporting our broader lodge team.

As summer arrives, so do our guests. Your role will evolve to managing and coordinating all housekeeping operations, and ensuring your team is equipped with the necessary resources and training to deliver outstanding service. Your energetic and flexible leadership style will complement your commitment to compliance, health and safety, and effectively managing payroll costs.

This seasonal role then follows through till October.

You will have…

• Significant experience in housekeeping management, ideally in the luxury segment
• Strong organisational skills and the highest level of attention to detail
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of guests and team members
• A great sense of humour and the ability to instil this approach in your team
• Proficiency in making decisions under pressure
• A strong focus on growing and developing a passionate team
• A valid Canadian driver’s licence and First Aid certificate
