As a Respectful Workplace Consultant, you will be a key agent in advancing workplace practices, such as Workplace Restoration and Alternative/Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR). You will build on trauma-informed approaches supporting the organization in resolving conflict and addressing Respectful Workplace matters. Your duties will include:

  • Conduct intake meetings on respectful workplace matters, evaluate risks, and make informed decisions regarding next steps.
  • Apply ADR best practices such as conflict coaching, mediation and conciliation with the following principles: neutrality, fairness, thoroughness, timeliness, and trauma-informed.
  • Conduct workplace assessments and restoration utilizing ADR best practices.
  • Act as a resource for leaders and employees to proactively manage and resolve inappropriate behaviours, including but not limited to, microaggressions and respectful workplace conflicts.
  • Collaborate with key partners to develop, advance, promote and deliver respectful workplace tools and resources throughout the organization.
 
Qualifications 
  • A degree, plus a certificate in dispute/conflict resolution, mediation or equivalent, plus at least 5 years' experience. 
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in a complex unionized environment is an asset.  
  • Expertise in writing clear and concise reports is required.

Compensation: Level E $83,059 - 125,413 per annum
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
work week earning 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
