The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is Canadas second largest research and technology organization. SRCs Organizational Effectiveness Division is looking for a Human Resources Manager. This position leads the HR function and is responsible for developing HR plans and programs designed to effectively support business needs.
Accountabilities
Annually, develop and manage a data-informed work plan and supporting resource and budget plan
Build, maintain and deliver on a strategic workforce plan, in line with diversity, equity and inclusion aspirations, and a succession planning process for business-critical roles
Develop and propose a regularly reviewed and updated data-informed culture plan that will support SRC leadership in providing a safe, engaging and enabling work environment for all
Ensure compensation and benefits programs remain current and relevant to attract and retain top talent
Develop and deploy a competency and capability matrix with supporting training and development programs
Develop a leadership training program in alignment with SRCs values
Review, maintain and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with business goals and objectives, ensuring all are compliant with applicable and relevant legislation
Lead HR projects as needed
Qualifications
A bachelors degree in business or a related field. Preference for candidates with specialization
in HR, or labour relations. An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
Preference to candidates with their Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR)
10+ years experience in HR; experience within relevant industries is an asset
3+ years experience in people leadership
The chosen candidate will be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
