Human Resources & Safety Intern
Primary Function:
Reporting directly to the Owner/ Lead Consultant, the Human Resources & Safety Intern would provide administrative support in all aspects of the organization and act as a HR resource to clients when required.
Job Description:
· Provide support directly to clients related to any HR and Safety function when required.
· Support employee recruitment and selection initiatives for clients.
· Participate in field visits/ site inspections for clients
· Coordinate training and development initiatives and liaise with providers.
· Review and update company and client documents and policies.
· Maintain client documentation and records.
· Conduct new employee orientation and administrative training for clients.
· Schedule meetings and appointments and take meeting minutes when required.
· Conduct data entry and manage client databases.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
· Completed diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent.
· Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and meet deadlines
· Ability to work independently, self starter, initiative required to act under minimal supervision.
· Strong planning skills and highly organized
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Regular work attendance is imperative and the ability to work flexible hours as required.
· Valid drivers license and use of personal vehicle may be required at times.
