Job Duties
- Initiate client files through the preparation of retainer agreements, receipt of retainer payments, and execution of conflict of interest checks.
- Gather client information and necessary supporting documentation.
- Complete and assemble application forms along with their supporting documents.
- Conclude and dispatch applications to the relevant authorities and visa offices.
- Compose and forward updates and responses for applications to the visa office as required.
- Preparing and drafting various correspondence and documents.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and voicemail messages promptly.
- Organize, print, and file documents accurately.
- Efficiently close files and ensure they are kept in an orderly manner.
- Potentially coordinate and manage consultations.
- Undertake additional administrative tasks as needed.
- Conduct research and gather information for projects or reports.
Employment Requirements
- At least two (2) years of administrative or clerical work experience, preferably at a Immigration firm OR law firm.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration polices, immigration programs and process.
- Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively process payments and follow requisite procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently, multi-task and perform well under pressure.
- Completion of college or university, preferably in a related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Word, Outlook & Excel).
- Cultural sensitivity.
- English language ability.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
