The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authoritys Liquor Licensing and Inspector Branch is seeking an experienced and self-motivated inspector to join its team as a permanent full-time Liquor licensing Inspector.
Reporting to the Manager, Liquor Inspections & Security, this position will be responsible for attending to permitted establishments and functions to promote and ensure compliance with provincial requirements and expectations respecting the sale, distribution, and consumption of beverage alcohol. This will be accomplished using a variety of strategies, including, as appropriate, education, inspections, and investigations. In reviewing operations, Inspectors may take statements from complainants and witnesses as well as prepare reports to record compliance history to support the sanction process. Inspectors provide educational support to permittees, other enforcement agencies, and the general public. Inspectors are required to serve legal documents and testify in court or before the Liquor and Gaming Commission if necessary. In addition, the Inspectors perform regulatory duties related to Texas Holdem poker tournaments and Video Lottery Terminals.
