Inventory Clerk

Our manufacturing client located in Cambridge is looking for a detail oriented candidate that has strong communication skills! If you're looking for a long-term contract / temporary position in the Cambridge, Ontario area, this Inventory Clerk job is a terrific opportunity for you! In the position you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all raw materials, finished goods, and supplies used in the production process. The main duties of an Inventory Clerk include:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with vendors
• Engaging suppliers for purchasing related administration and to collect documentation
• Coordinate, execute and maintain administrative processes and systems, in line with internal procedures.
• Tracking Purchase Orders through the PO process
• Enter PO's into the system
• Receive and process incoming stock and materials
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits
• Keep a record of all inventory transactions
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and computer-generated reports
• Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, costs, and discrepancies
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
• At least 1 year experience in related field preferred
• Experience with maintaining Vendor Files experience highly desired
• Foundational knowledge in SAP
• Knowledge of Purchase Orders
• Deep understanding of data entry
• Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well
