We are now hiring an Inventory Control Leadhand at our Kitchener location!
Position Summary:
The Inventory Control Lead hand will be supporting the warehouse team with returns, cycle counts, receiving issues, and pallet investigations. This role can be physically & mental demanding, being analytical and able to think outside the box is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover for when supervisor is on vacation or out of the office.
- Stock discrepancies from Accounts payable representatives.
- Cycle Count Stock adjustment verification.
- Label Printing.
- Error Reporting.
- Weekly send reclamation reports to purchasing team.
- Process inventory adjustments as required using extreme accuracy to ensure appropriate codes are used.
- Lend support processing customer returns as time permits and as required.
- Handling of returns and adjustments.
- Provide backup as required to other Inventory Control functions.
- Experience in all areas of warehousing – receiving, order selection, put-away, replenishment
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate a Raymond End Rider/Reach Truck/Order Picker.
- Good working knowledge of FWS Applications.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Flanagan Forms Applications (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Positive attitude, Team Player with respect for co-workers and customers.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to occasional lift up to 80lbs and repetitive lifting on a regular basis.
- Must be able to work in a multi-temperature environment regularly throughout the day including freezer (Temp. -20F);
- Ability to effectively problem solve and think strategically
- Physical demands of the position require the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, lift up to 80lbs on an occasional basis, lift up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis, and work in a multi-temperature environment (freezer -20F).
