I&T Financial Analyst, Transformation Programs Accounting (Temporary, 12 Months)

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance I&T team, who will be responsible for the financial follow-up of Transformation Programs, as well as financial support for a technology development and implementation team. You will have to track program costs, understand and control these costs vs. the business case, forecast them on a regular basis and perform month-end closing activities (entries, reconciliation, reports, etc). You will also be involved in tracking contract and requisition costs.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Manage financial monitoring of the program.
• Participate in the determination of project investments (Business Case).
• Maintain the project costing file and cost detail master file.
• Provide financial reports and recommendations to the project management team.
• Assist project managers in financial planning and cost tracking.
• Collaborate with the finance team on month-end and financial planning processes (commitments, forecasts, budget, risks and opportunities).
• Contribute to the accounting of various contracts and project activities with the finance team.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

• A CPA accounting designation would be an asset.
• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Outstanding analysis skills.
• A strong interest in learning and maintaining effective business processes.
• A good sense of initiative.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

This position will be based in Valcourt, Sherbrooke or Montreal.
