About Bench Brewing:

Located in the heart of Niagara’s wine country, our farmhouse brewery is located on the site of the historic Maple Grove Public School in Beamsville, Ontario. Our brewery is a place for our guests to relax, learn, and experience the craft of brewing beer.

The Bench Brewing Campus sits across eight beautiful acres and will feature a 50hL brewing system, a tap and tasting room, a beer garden, a ‘funk house’ for our wild ale and barrel fermentation program, and our very own hops field.

The Role:

Reporting to the Packaging Manager, the primary role of the Jr. Packaging Operator is to support packaging operations on the afternoon shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all tasks safely
• Operate 3 head keg cleaner and clean kegs as needed
• Fill kegs as required by daily production plan
• Perform shutdown procedures for CFT canning line
• Support set-up of daily activities for packaging hands
• Perform packaging QC checks as required
• Support afternoon receiving of deliveries and put away materials in their proper locations
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Schedule flexibility: shift work & weekend work required
• Must be able to repeatedly stand, walk, bend, twist, push, pull & reach for duration of the shift
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds (a full 30L keg)
• Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, and loud environments
• Self-motivated induvial with keen attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined
• High school diploma, post-secondary education in manufacturing/trades/engineering a plus
• Forklift experience is a plus

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Salary: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
