Jr. Project Manager

Moss Development Corp. is a Construction Management company that is well recognized in the field of commercial construction in many remote locations in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Currently, Moss Development Corp. has various construction projects ongoing in the Happy Valley – Goose Bay, Sheshatshiu, Natuashish, Makkovik and St.Anthony, NL areas. Our current Individual project values range from $2,000,000 to $32,000,000. Moss Development Corp. is looking to add to its team and is now seeking a Junior Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

· 3-5+ years working on construction projects in a similar role.

· Proven knowledge of commercial construction industry and possess good communication skills.

· Competent in reading and interpreting plans and project specifications.

· Ability to resolve scope of work related issues and provide recommendations on measures to increase productivity.

· Support and report directly to the Sr. Project Managers.

· Prepared to ensure that OH&S regulations and company based policies are enforced.

· Can coordinate ordering and shipments of materials based on schedules and project demands.

· Experience in using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Project and Outlook is considered an asset.

· Safety training, such as WHMIS, First Aid, and Supervisor Training, is considered an asset.

Office headquarters are based in Mount Pearl, NL.
