***Junior Administrative Assistant (Independent Contractor position)***
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Junior Administrative Assistant to join our team as an Independent Contractor. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to various departments within the company, with a focus on assisting the Office Manager. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the construction industry. The duration of this position is open-ended, with potential for transition into permanent employee status, within 6 months of start date, based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
1) General Administrative Duties:
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist in responding to and managing client emails and inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail.
2) Data Entry and Filing:
- Input data accurately into spreadsheets, databases, and other software systems.
- Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of project files.
3*) Assisting Office Manager:*
- Provide support to the Office Manager in various administrative tasks.
- Assist the Office Manager with client e-mail correspondence.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Help in organizing company events, meetings, and functions.
4) Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Assist in various miscellaneous tasks as needed to support the business' operational needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in Management or Real Estate preferred (or equivalent) is preferred but not required; additional certification in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow directions and take instruction effectively to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

Expected Start Date: Start date is flexible between May 1st, 2024 - June 15st 2024.
