Key Account Manager - Sales

Westfine Meats Inc. is currently seeking a Full-Time Key Account Manager for our meat processing plant.

This position reports to the General Manager and is responsible for managing sales activities in their territory, developing, and maintaining customers relations and representing the company in a professional manner. The Key Account Manager will manage the regional broker and work in collaboration with the various internal departments to develop sales strategies.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain an excellent relationship with existing clients;
• Grow and manage existing accounts as well as bring in new business within the territory;

• Evaluate volume opportunities to continually increase sales from existing customers;
• Develop sales of food distributors, institutional sector purchasing groups and restaurant chains in the territory covered;
• Manage sales activities, represent the company at industry events and train the various stakeholders on our product line;
• Negotiate customer agreements to get the best return on our investments;
• Develop and implement sales strategies and analyze market information provided by our marketing department and customers;
• Develop expertise and knowledge of the company to meet market expectations;
• Work in close collaboration with the different internal departments to support the company’s strategic alignments;
• Use the technological tools available for the smooth running of daily activities;
• Other duties as assigned.

Skill and Qualifications:

• 2+ years sales expertise with a track record of success
• Food Manufacturing experience in culinary and perishable will be an asset
• Proficient with the Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Effective communication skills
