Legal Assistant (Immigration)

Reporting to the Regulated Immigration Consultant, the Legal Assistant plays an integral role in processing of immigration applications of Magellan Immigration Consulting Inc. The role responsibilities are:

• Document processing duties as requested by the Immigration Consultant
• Respond to client inquiries, schedule meetings, request documents and forms
• Prepare documents and forms, draft letters
• Attending and taking minutes of meetings as required
• Updating the corporate CRM as required
• Any additional duties or projects as assigned by the Immigration Consultant

Qualifications and Education

• At least two (2) years of related working experience

Skills

• Knowledge of MS Office and Database Systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent writing skills
• Attention to detail
• Interest and experience with immigration would be considered a bonus.

Remote work. From 10 to 15 hours a week to start. May lead to a permanent position.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
