Now Hiring: Mailroom Administrator, Client Support Services (6 Months contract)
Key accountabilities:
This role involves interaction with co-workers, relationship managers, vendors, and finance.
Acknowledge receipt by signing waybills and record items received
Deliver, pickup and sort all incoming and outgoing mail
Process internal and external mailings
Record, process and file all outgoing and incoming mail returns
Process all outgoing and incoming couriers
Receive incoming couriers and notify intended recipient(s)
Calculate and meter postage to all outgoing mail and parcels
Control and maintain postage, courier, and shipping supplies as required
Maintain accurate records of urgent business mail delivery
Operate different courier computer systems for printing of daily waybills and weekly cost manifests
Track shipments
Ensure all lookups of mail are processed, counted and logged
Coordinate workflow with internal departments
Respond to routine questions, provide information and direct inquiries to appropriate departments
Updating database
Other duties that may be assigned
Must Have:
1+ year experience in Mailroom
Friendly service-oriented individual with good communications skills and strong attention to detail
Strong general operational knowledge and specific understanding of the organizational unit, its functions, products and customer groups
Excellent working experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Gmail/Google
Able to meet assigned deadlines
Database Management
Nice Have:
Proxy / Transfer Agent experience
Bilingual an asset
