The Maintenance person is responsible for repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and administrative office.
Some of the job duties include but are not limited to:
- Respond and complete all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Respond and perform duties of a groundskeeper in all weather conditions.
- Maintain all work areas in an orderly and clean condition.
- Inspect public areas daily for any maintenance concerns.
- Provide minor maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas, and administrative offices.
- Repairs may include minor plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door, and window repairs.
- Prerequisites:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in maintenance for a hotel or condominium complex. This is a very physical and demanding role at times requiring heavy lifting and pushing. The successful candidate must be able to lift, bend, crouch, push, and pull with ease. This role requires various availability including weekends and holidays.
Education:
Must have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Preference will be given to those with tickets or other certificates.
Experience:
Must have a minimum 1 year of hotel maintenance experience.
