Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Toronto, ON. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of maintenance services for our residential buildings. This is a full-time position in a unionized environment, offering an annual salary of $65,000.

Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
Oversee the response to tenant maintenance requests and ensure high service standards.
Prepare and manage weekly maintenance schedules, allocating work efficiently.
Recruit, supervise, and train maintenance staff, including tradesmen.
Implement and maintain our clients work order system for accountability and customer service.
Collaborate with Housing Operations and Community Development Manager for superior service delivery.
Conduct facility inspections, identify maintenance issues, and ensure timely resolution.
Assist in developing and managing maintenance budgets, adhering to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and coordinate with payroll for staff scheduling.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field.
5+ years of relevant work experience in Building Maintenance.
Supervisory experience in a similar role, particularly in a unionized environment.
Commitment to serving low-income seniors and populations with complex conditions.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in performance management and technical knowledge of building systems.
Knowledge of health and safety practices, budgeting, and planning skills.
Computer savvy with experience in MS Office Suite and electronic work order systems.
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
