We are looking for a dynamic individual who will be able to run operations as well as spearhead the launch and success of our exciting new destination market.
As the manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the food Market Operations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers ensuring that the ambiance we strive to give our customers is always spot on.
This position includes but is not limited to food preparation, customer service, and managing the overall ambiance of the food market.
The following are the responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
Launch strategy -Develop & implement a comprehensive plan for the successful launch of the food market, taking into consideration the logistics, marketing and customer engagement.
Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that the highest standards of food quality, service and cleanliness are always followed. This will include the monitoring of inventory, managing supplies efficiently. This area also entails the implementation of all Health & Safety regulations, ensuring that all regulations are followed. Implement and enforce sanitation and hygiene standards.
Create a welcoming and inviting customer atmosphere while implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction & loyalty.
Creation of “Menu Management” by collaborating with chefs to curate a palatable and enticing menu. All the while engaging with clients to monitor feedback and adapt the menu based on trends and preferences.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the launch of our new food market. Utilizing social media, partnerships with local vendors and producers in our area, and attending local events to promote and increase visibility so that you are constantly attracting new customers all the time.
Recruit -train -and manage a team of high-performing staff -delegate responsibilities so that the operation is always running smoothly,
Monitor and manage budget-track sales, implementing cost-effective measures. Produce and submit financial reports for the leadership team.
Establish and maintain positive vendor relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers and vendors while ensuring that they provide timely deliveries.
Curate, create the setup-maintenance of outdoor games that create the ambiance for customers so that they have an enjoyable experience when they visit the food market.
Qualifications
Proven experience in the food industry, with managerial experience.
Strong leadership, organizational skills,
excellent communication & interpersonal skills,
and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
