What are we looking for

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, the Marketing Assistant will play a key role in supporting the marketing efforts of StellarGrade. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about marketing to contribute to various projects and initiatives aimed at driving brand awareness and lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

Branding and Content Creation:

• Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all marketing materials, including presentations, collateral, and documentation.
• Create and update branded templates for various purposes, such as sales presentations, reports, and email communications.
• Educate and train internal teams on brand guidelines and ensure adherence to branding standards in all communications and materials.
• Assist in creating engaging and compelling content for various marketing channels, including blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, and website copy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content development

Social Media Management:

• Manage and maintain StellarGrade's presence on social media platforms, including LinkedIn.
• Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to inquiries and comments in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase followers, engagement, and brand visibility on social media.

Email Marketing:

• Assist in the creation, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns using marketing automation tools.
• Segment email lists based on various criteria and ensure targeted messaging to different audience segments.
• Monitor email performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.

Website Management:

• Support website maintenance and updates, including content publishing, SEO optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and imagery for the website and other marketing materials.

Event Coordination:

• Assist in the planning and coordination of virtual and in-person events, such as webinars, conferences, and workshops.
• Manage event logistics, including registration, attendee communication, and post-event follow-up.

Market Research:

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities for StellarGrade.
• Compile and present research findings to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B or technology-related industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Google Suite, and social media platforms.
• Experience with marketing automation tools and content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinker with a passion for learning and staying updated on industry trends.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Requirements

• Must be able to be available between 9 and 5, Monday to Friday (remotely).
• Native proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Aptitude and experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Must have initiative, be organized, and meticulous
• Work well in teams
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good knowledge of GSuite (Google Doc, Google Sheets, etc.)
