Marketing Communications Coordinator

Stepping Stones Crisis Society is a not-for-profit organization deeply rooted in the heart of our community. We are dedicated to the prevention of family violence through public awareness, outreach and supports. As we continue to grow and expand our impact, we are seeking a passionate Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team.

As the Marketing & Communications Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of shaping our organization's image, communicating our mission, and engaging our community and internal team. Your role will involve developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, crafting compelling content, and overseeing all communication channels to effectively convey our message to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute innovative marketing campaigns to raise awareness and support for our initiatives.
• Supporting the capital campaign and prioritizing the production of any required marketing materials.
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across various platforms and materials.
• Create engaging content including social media posts, newsletters, press releases, and website updates and maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with organizational goals.
• Analyze campaign performance and audience engagement to optimize strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Equivalencies considered).
• 3-5 years proven experience in marketing and communications roles, preferably within a non-profit or community-focused setting.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Word Press, InDesign, Social Media including LinkedIn).
• Strong project management and analytical abilities.
• Passion for community development and a deep understanding of rural dynamics.
