We are looking for a high-performing Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in raising awareness of the gallery, attracting visitors, promoting artists and exhibitions, and ultimately driving engagement and sales.
- Developing Marketing Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote exhibitions, events, and gallery activities.
- Social Media Management: Oversee the gallery's social media presence, including content creation, posting schedules, engagement with followers, and monitoring of analytics to optimize performance.
- Public Relations: Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure coverage for exhibitions, artists, and gallery initiatives.
- Email Marketing: Manage email marketing campaigns to keep subscribers informed about upcoming exhibitions, events, and news from the gallery.
- Website Management: Maintain and update the gallery's website with current exhibition information, artist profiles, and other relevant content.
- Event Promotion and advertising: Coordinate marketing efforts to promote gallery openings, artist talks, workshops, and other events hosted by the gallery.
- Market Research: Conduct research to understand the preferences and behaviors of the gallery's target audience, as well as trends in the art market.
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations with other organizations, businesses, or institutions to expand the gallery's reach and attract new audiences.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes within financial constraints.
- Evaluation and Reporting: Track the performance of marketing activities, analyze results, and prepare regular reports for management to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and inform future strategies.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the local community through outreach programs, partnerships with schools or community groups, and participation in community events to foster goodwill and support for the gallery.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilize CRM software to manage contacts, track interactions, and nurture relationships with collectors, patrons, and other stakeholders.
- Supporting Sales: Work closely with the sales team to provide marketing support for art sales, exhibitions, and client relationship management.
- AIR Program management: Oversee the gallery’s Artist In Residence program, working closely with the hotel and artists to maximize exposure and execute smoothly.
- Artist Onboarding: Successful onboarding of artists via activating on the website, social media and digital efforts (SEO)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $28.92-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
