The successful candidate has a passion for marketing and bringing consumer goods to life through various channels. They should have an understanding of brand marketing and how to manage client/customer relationships. The Marketing Manager must be a proven project manager with exceptional decision making skills. They will execute projects with excellence, convey knowledge of brand and retailer’s businesses, identify innovative opportunities and understand category and market positioning. They are the liaison between sales and marketing and are responsible for driving tailored sell-in and sell-through programs for key partners.

Responsibilities:
- Strategic planning and execution of sell-through programs with Carrier and Retail partners. Execute post-mortems to determine ROI and future planning.
- Direct and have consistent proactive interaction with key accounts such as Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Bell, TELUS, Rogers.
- Alignment and best practice sharing with US counterparts both from a channel and brand perspective
- Determine marketing needs for Canadian Enterprise segment
- Identify Canadian brand needs by region and develop plan of attack to grow awareness within the market.
- Support various product launches
- Provide headquarters marketing team insight on language requirements Lead localization of marketing materials to comply with local language laws/requirements
- Provide the Canadian Sales team updates on a variety of topics including changes to brand strategy
- Provide a high level focus for both the OtterBox and LifeProof brand
- Develop specific marketing programs for the Canadian region and maintain marketing calendars and budgets for all assigned account
- Develop strategy and customer and consumer facing tools to supportnew series/product introduction
- Managing MDF & OpEx spends Build and Manage MDF and OPEX budgets across all accounts.
- Present strategy, execution and marketing initiatives to customers and c-suite level.
- Oversee events and training initiatives and strategy, by account, with Sales team
- Work with external vendors to develop and maintain impactful merchandising solutions across all relevant accounts.
- Other duties as required
- Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
- Minimum five years of marketing experience, preferably in the areas of channel, brand and eCommerce.
- Experience working in the consumer electronics or wireless industry is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel up to 25% between the United States and Canada required.
