As the Marketing Manager at Better Impact, you’ll report directly to the CEO and lead a team of three others to expand and execute our outbound strategy leading to increased brand recognition, leads and sales: and as a result, the number of organizations we help.

This position is open to candidates in Canada who can work from home, or if near our office in Hamilton ON, from the office with work at home flexibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:
Partnerships
- Develop an annual plan to identify and secure new partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers and partners
- Execute on partnership commitments in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams
Conferences
- Develop an annual plan for conference participation
- Review sponsorship packages
- Negotiate inclusions and costs
- Execute on sponsorship commitments in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams
Case Studies
- Work with others on the Better Impact team to identify potential case study authors form our membership
- Review case study content and approve for publishing
Newsletter
- Create the content plan for each monthly e-newsletter
- Review and approve drafted e-newsletter prior to sending
Website
- Apply current SEO strategies to boost search ranking
- Review the website on an ongoing basis to look for ways to improve the UX
- Create copy for web pages and landing pages
Webinars & Events
- Identify contacts to target
- Create copy for email campaigns
- Review and approve workflows for successful launch of email campaigns
Email Drip Campaigns
- Develop an annual plan
- Create email copy
- Design workflow
Blogs
- Manage editorial calendar
- Maintain relationships with external blog contributors
- Secure internal blog authors for some blog content
- Review and approve blog content
Review Sites
- Maintain Better Impact’s profile across review sites like G2, TrustPilot, and Capterra
- Create processes that help drive constant reviews to our profiles on review sites
- Ensure leads generated from these sites are successfully handed over to the applicable sales team member
- Utilize social proof/marketing content generated from our profiles for marketing efforts
Marketing Content
- Create copy for marketing content/collateral (e.g. website, landing pages, brochures, banners, newsletter, etc.)
Workflows
- Conceptualize, review, and approve marketing-related workflows
- Consult with other departments on workflow development where a crossover with marketing applies
Analytics, Reporting, and Research
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
- Utilize data to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies.
Management
- Lead a team of three
- Actively participate on the Leadership team with the CEO, VP Technology, Sales Manager and Member Success Manager
