Job Role:
To capture, edit and create media for use within our social media and website presence. Manage our media accounts and online presence. Design and create graphic content upon request. Assist our design team in all capacities.
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- A personal vehicle and ability to drive throughout Winnipeg
- Ability to stand and work with your hands for long periods of time
- Ability to listen to and follow instruction from a direct supervisor
- Comfortable with working in dusty, hot, wet and/or cold temperatures
- Comfortable working weekends if schedule permits
- Valid Class 5 License
Daily Tasks Include:
- Data collection and organization
- Drone operation and photography
- Social media content capture and creation
- Procuring material samples and delivering to clients, vendors
- Participation in team meetings, and project reviews
- Website and social media development
- Graphic design and content creation
- Assist with all aspects of design as required
- Liaise with clients, staff members and vendors
- A valid class 5 license and access to a vehicle are required
- The ability to communicate in English at a very high level is a necessity
- Laptops as required to run LMN, Vizterra, and photo/video editing software
- Assist in client relationship building
Required Skills:
- Ability to capture media on project work sites in both still and video format
- Ability to edit all media
- Knowledge of website and social media marketing and creation
Length of Employment:
- April 1st - November 15th ( Weather dependent )
- Work is available during winter months but it is not a requirement of this position
- Monday to Saturday
- Weather and schedule may require some Saturday work.
- 8 hours per day
Compensation:
- Starting wage of $18/hr based on experience and skill set, higher wages available with experience
