Mechanical Designer

Express Employment Professionals is looking for a mechanical Designer for a client of ours in the simcoe county area.

The ideal candidate will need to have a reliable vehicle to travel to and from work as public transportation is unreliable and experience with DC power and signal wiring design

This role is 100% in-office and not a hybrid or remote role.

Duties:

- Solidworks 3D modeling

- AutoCad 2D drawings

- PLC or Data Acquisition programming

- Design and operation of R+D projects

- DC power and signal wiring design

- Soldering of PCBs or cables

- Assembly of test DC signal systems

- Assembly of vacuum systems (scroll pumps, turbo pumps, RGA, etc.)

- Vacuum system tubing using automated orbital welding

- Tube bending for vacuum system

Experience:

- AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles
- Experience in building and assembling mechanical components or systems
- Project management experience
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines

Salary: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 4 years (required)
