Education, Skills, and Experience
· Mechanical Engineering degree from a recognized university or training institute
· Minimum of 4 years of experience
· 2D and 3D Fusion360 and SolidWorks CAD software, or equivalent
· Knowledge and application of reliability engineering principles
· Methodical approach to analyzing pressure-based calculations/components interfacing to pipelines
· Familiarity with ABSA and ASME standards and documentation (ASME B31.3, CAT-H)

Responsibilities
· Develops project requirements with development of design concepts and ideas
· Review shop drawings, and codes and obtain preliminary approvals where appropriate.
· Coordinate mechanical designs and documents with other disciplines.
· Help create and refine engineering documentation (drawings, work instructions, videos) for our products to assist internal / external engineering customers achieve the best understanding of the product’s design intent and integration.
· Participate in design meetings with clients to provide timely input on anticipated mechanical schemes.
· Confer with Rysco Management, production, and marketing departments to determine engineering feasibility and cost effectiveness for new and existing products
· Identify manufacturing improvements which will increase our potential capacity and/or lower our operating costs.
· Work within a team environment to support others and the Product Manager to achieve corporate goals and defined metrics.
· Comply with Rysco’s Integrated Management System (ISO)
· Participate in Health and Safety initiatives
· Prepare and maintain any necessary technical documents related to the product
· Adhere to Rysco’s Training/Competency Database requirements
· Develop and maintain ongoing system engineering concepts (QA/QC) related to Mechanical Engineering
· Keep apprised of industry and technical trends, codes, and standards and be an active member with APEGA.

Salary: $85,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
