SalaryOur current IMG makes $6000 / month working 5 days a week (based on his patients seen). He is leaving to start residency in 3-4 months. Please note we will require you to train with our current IMG for 2-4 weeks before starting. This will be paid training.

This is to be a family practice/walk in clinic. I am looking for a hard working, determined, kind and caring Medical assistant that is comfortable working independently in seeing walk in and booked patients though you will have full support either in person or by phone from Dr. Sheth as well as an onsite pharmacist (Yash at City Med pharmacy).
Common visits will including assessments of vital signs, and management of common conditions like MSK pain, hypertension, obesity and diabetes. Many patients will be seen for preventative health visits and this clinic will help to satisfy a huge need of medical services in Orillia that is currently under serviced.
The candidate should be able to type quickly and be familiar with charting / using computers (although templates will also be provided to ease documentation). Currently we use Juno EMR which is based on oscar but will be switching to Input health in 2-3 months.
The candidate should be fluent in english. Ideally typing speed of 50-60 wpm. Ideally someone that is relatively local to minimize commute time (within 20-30 minutes driving distance).

- Monday to Friday
