About the Job:
We are currently looking for a full time Medical Office Assistant to join our team at North West Cardio-Diagnostics. If you are organized, enjoy working in a team environment and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, this may be to opportunity for you. In this role your focus will be to keep the office running smoothly by completing a variety of administrative tasks, as well as presenting a great first impression to our patients, vendors, physicians and assisting health care professions with patient care. The MOA must be capable of receiving feedback from staff and able to adapt to a high paced workflow. You thrive in an office environment, and pride yourself in keeping the office running smoothly, and supporting the team and our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ability to work within all aspects of an EMR effectively, following departmental procedures and policies.
· Greeting & checking in patients in fast-paced cardiac diagnostic lab
· Data entry, record updates and filing
· Maintain patient confidentiality
· Scheduling and confirming appointments
· General exam room cleaning, maintain waiting rooms and all other areas of the office, ensuring they are clean and organized
· Prepare and stock medical/office supplies
· Ensuring the lab runs efficiently, by supporting team members wherever necessary
· Perform Electro Cardiograms.
Experience:
· Medical Office: 2 years (Preferred)
Required Skills:
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
· Cope well within emergency situations and ability to juggle priorities
· Meticulous attention to detail and organization
· Adaptable, versatile and provides personable customer interactions
· Team player
· Exceptional communication skills (In-person, phone & email)
Assets:
· Experience with EMR system.
· Experience working in a specialist's office and a busy multi-team member environment.
· Ability to organize own time/work independently.
· Ability to accept feedback from admin team to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and on time to the best of your capabilities.
· Have a great work attitude and be ready to work as part of a highly functioning team.
Title: Medical Office Administrator
Status: Permanent, Full Time
· Location: Calgary North and South Clinic locations, must have the ability to travel.
Non-local candidates WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Salary & Benefits
· Remuneration: $15.00 - $25 per hour.
