Medical Office Administrator

We are seeking a Medical Office Administrator to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions to drive company success.

Responsibilities:

• Draft correspondences and other formal documents
• Booking/managing appointments.
• Greet and assist onsite guests
• Responding to customer questions on business related product and services via email, chat, and phone.
• Develop and implement organized filing systems
• Experience with direct billing and working with insurance claims.
• Provide secretarial support in a clinical environment including clinician scheduling, confidential records.
• Use of POS system and various tools and applications.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and co-operatively and a team player
• ​Strong organizational skills
• Flexible work schedule.
• Fluent in English and ability to speak, Tagalog is a definite asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $15.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime pay

Experience:

• Medical office: 1 year (preferred)
• Direct sales: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• Tagalog (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Calgary, AB T2E 6V2 (preferred)
