Brief Overview:
The Metis Nation Saskatchewan (MNS) is the government that represents Metis citizens in Saskatchewan, and MNS Ministry of Health is responsible for improving the Health and well-being of Metis citizens in Saskatchewan. The Ministry of Health does this through program development and operation, research and data partnerships, and the development of a Metis Health and Well-being Strategy. MNS Department of Health requires a Mental Health Navigator to work independently and collaboratively to support Metis citizens throughout the homeland who are seeking Mental Health or substance use services and supports. The Mental Health Navigator will connect all clients applying to the program with the appropriate support they require.
Key Responsibilities:
Connect Saskatchewan Metis citizens (children, youth, adults, and families) to supportive Mental Health and substance use services,
Identify Mental Health and substance use needs and recommend professional and supportive services in Saskatchewan.
