The Danish Canadian National Museum is located in Dickson, Alberta and tells the story of the Danish Canadian experience from the Vikings at L'Anse aux Meadows to present day. Located on 14 acres of grounds, the site includes three historic buildings, two reproduction buildings, a replica Viking ship, formal gardens, walking paths, the Saga Cafe and gift shop. The Museum is an immersive experience allowing visitors to step into the saga and learn about Danish culture and history.
The Cultural Interpreter/Guest Services students will work closely with the manager and volunteers to provide immersive experiences for visitors including interpretive tours, weekly programming, and special events.
