Job Title: MyCare Product Sales Associate

Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented individual to join our team as a MyCare Product Sales Representative selling coverage for both serious and non-serious medical conditions. This role will involve promoting and selling MyCare Programs tailored to meet the diverse healthcare needs of individuals and families and the corporate employee benefits market. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, empathy, and a thorough understanding of MyCare products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets for MyCare plans that cover serious and non-serious medical conditions.
• Identify and engage potential clients, including individuals, families, and businesses, to assess their needs and offer suitable coverage options.
• Educate clients on the benefits, coverage, and terms of our MyCare plans, emphasizing coverage for various medical conditions, treatments, and procedures.
• Conduct consultations and presentations to clearly articulate the value proposition of MyCare offerings, addressing both serious and non-serious medical conditions.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate renewals, address inquiries, and provide ongoing support regarding coverage and claims.
• Stay abreast of changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and insurance policies to ensure compliance and offer up-to-date advice to clients.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop sales materials and campaigns focused on MyCare Programs coverage for diverse medical conditions.
• Work with contracted employee benefits brokers to increase sales of MyCare products to their books of business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or combination of education and work experience.
• Proven success in sales and the desire to increase compensation based on personal sales performance.
• The ability to build sales teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to empathize with clients’ diverse needs and effectively communicate plan options.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Some knowledge of insurance terminology or the employee benefits industry would be an asset.
• Succesful candidate must reside in British Columbia or Alberta.

Compensation:

Annual salary of $60,000 plus commissions and bonuses.
