Night Auditor

We are looking for a Night Auditor for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brockville who will be responsible for conducting a nightly audit, balancing and consolidating departmental ledger accounts, preparation of various hotel operating reports. They are required to work through the night shift on the front desk.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process telephone calls;
• Take/Cancel/Change room reservations;
• Process check-ins;
• Provide information on hotel facilities and services;
• Provide information about services available in the community;
• Process guests' departures, handle all billing and payment requirements;
• Maintain cleanliness of Front Desk, Lobby and common areas (mop & sweep floors, vacuum carpets, empty garbage)
• Run Nightly Audit (11pm-7am);
• Deliver Express Check-out Receipts;
• Set up/tear down Meeting Rooms (must be able to lift up to 40 lbs);
• Setup Breakfast bar for the morning;
• Restock/refresh coffee station;
• Test and Open Pool in Morning;
• Maintain cleanliness of Front Desk, Lobby and common areas (Mop/Sweep floors, vacuum carpets, empty garbage)
• Check-in late arrivals/ Check-out early departures;
• Answer phone and assist guests;
• Enter/Verify Wake Up calls.
• MUST be able to work on Weekends and Holidays.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

• Reliable, punctual and detail oriented;
• Friendly, calm and tolerant to stress in a fast-paced hospitality environment;
• Organized and professional at all times with polished communication skills;
• Someone with above average computer skills for data entry using multiple screens in different programs;
• Experienced in customer service and/or office admin;
• Someone able to multitask efficiently;
• Comfortable in professional business attire;
• Looking for career advancement in a great environment;

(The Night Auditor receives a shift premium of $1.00)

This is a part-time job, but training will be full time on all shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $16.55 per hour
