We are currently seeking an experienced Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our dynamic team. Located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, Granville College is a leading private career college with a mission to provide exceptional career education and empower our students to achieve success.
Reporting to the Campus head, the Office Administrator/ Receptionist will play an essential role in smooth operations and will be the first point of contact to student.
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Prior experience as a receptionist is also helpful.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
- Assisting clients in finding their way around the campus
- Announcing visitors as necessary
- Screens and transfers calls to appropriate team members
- Responsible for either opening or closing the campus
- Able to multi-task and be organized
- Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs
- Sorting / distributing mail
- Ordering office supplies and equipment
- Responsible for working with internal / external teams to oversea facility maintenance
- Read and follow all procedures and policies and be aware of any updates
- Supports onboarding of new administrative / faculty team members
- Maintains keys / security cards for students, administration and faculty
- Maintains a visitor log and distributes visitor tags
- Ensures excellent customer service
- Support events such as job fairs, graduation, or open houses
- Other administration duties / tasks as required
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field
- Consistent, professional dress, and manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills

Salary: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
