Royal Oak Services provides tree planting, stump removal and landscaping services for any Southern Ontario Region.
We are currently seeking an Office assistant.
Job Description:
- Request locates (Permits) for planting street/park trees operations
- Track the locates, monitor the approval process and document the clearance paperwork.
- Prepare maps for planting crews
- Keep the information updated
- Resolve any issues with locates/maps
- Miscellaneous projects as assigned
- Perform other administrative duties as required
Competencies:
- Be familiar with requesting/documentation the locates and preferably have a background in landscaping or construction.(Preferred)
- Have experience working with the Ontario One Call Website (Preferred)
- Proficient in working with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Experience dealing and communicating directly with customers/contractors
- Accuracy in your paperwork, attention to detailed information and ability to provide solutions in a positive manner
- Critical thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic – reliable and punctual
- Proven organizational skills and self-accountability
- Ability to be a visible team player and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-organizing and able to multitask
- Able to learn and quickly adapt to the team’s growth
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to follow instruction
- Access to a vehicle
Overtime: May be required during peak planting season
