Office Assistant for Fabrication Workshop

We are a super busy Fabrication Workshop, creating seats for tv commercials, plus special events and holiday decor.

If you want to get started in this exciting industry and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, this may be the job for you!

The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic and be very organized. Must be able to work independently and efficiently, and also be able to function in a fast-paced and ever changing environment.

Responsibilities include:

-managing the daily calendar of the owner and keeping everyone updated on changed to dates and details of projects

- answering the phone and helping clients and suppliers

- responding to emails and managing owner's emails

-co-ordinating staffing and projects

- ordering supplies and follow-up

- picking up supplies

- keeping kitchen area clean and tidy and ordering supplies

- light cleaning duties- sweeping floor etc

Typical hours 9-5 but must be flexible to work extended hours when needed.

Must have vehicle or valid drivers license. Must be a resident of the GTA and be legally able to work in Canada.

Pay is $22-24/hr plus benefits, overtime and paid vacation.
