ONroute Merchandise and Customer Service Assistant
We are looking for a Merchandise and Customer Service Assistant to join our Procurement and Marketing Team. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, customer-obsessed, enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and a team player.
This is a hybrid remote position, with ~2 days per week in person at our Mississauga Office. Reliable Transportation is a must as this position will require some travel to plazas.
Salary Range: $50-55k
Key Responsibilities:
- SKU set up and maintenance.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of Purchase Orders.
- Work with Buyers, Marketing, and stores to coordinate planograms, in-store displays, and signage.
- Respond to and follow up on requests from stores and other departments via email and support portal.
- Communicate with vendors; follow up on orders, request marketing assets, and item setup, and identify issues relating to purchases, delivery, invoicing, recalls, etc.
- Perform ad hoc analysis projects/analysis and clerical functions as required.
- Responsible for Customer Service Portals from the Franchise brands including responding to customer inquiries and reporting.
- Working with Marketing and Customer Service Manager for Customer Service Appeasements, customer communication and reporting.
- Plaza Visits required.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience; Experience in Retail or Corporate Environment considered an asset.
- Excellent systems and MS Office knowledge (e.g. Excel, Power BI)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, analytical, methodical & rigorous.
- Ability to effectively work independently through complex issues under tight timelines – critical thinker.
- Reliable transportation to visit plazas.
