As we grow, we are excited to offer an internship for an Operations & Administrative Assistant. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to learn about operational and Administrative processes in the eco-cultural tourism industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Assist with administrative tasks including answering calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
- Help coordinate schedules, bookings, and reservations for tours.
- Support in maintaining organized filing systems and ensuring permits and licenses are current.
Financial Assistance:
- Aid in financial operations such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping.
- Assist with preparing financial documents for budgeting and reporting.
Human Resources Support:
- Support recruitment processes, including organizing interviews and compiling candidate information.
- Help with staff scheduling and maintaining employee records.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Under guidance, assist in engaging with Indigenous communities and stakeholders to ensure respectful, authentic tour experiences.
- Support building and maintaining positive relationships with partners and suppliers.
General Duties:
- Perform other related duties as required, contributing to the overall effectiveness and success of the company.
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in or completion of a program in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
- Interest or experience in administrative roles, preferably in the tourism or cultural sector.
- Basic proficiency in office applications like MS Office.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Keen to learn about Indigenous cultures and traditions.

Salary: $19.80-$20.00 per hour
