We have an immediate need for Team Members in our Assembly and Production Departments. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our Operations team. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Learn to handle optics, read blueprints, and use measuring equipment
  • Assemble products according to provided specifications
  • Utilize calibrated equipment as part of the manufacturing process
  • Follow work flow instructions from Supervision/Group Leads
  • Use good visual acuity to identify imperfections in parts or assemblies
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform basic data entry and computer work
  • Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and work shiftwork
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Basic computer skills and comfort with technology
  • Ability to understand technical problems and make sound decisions
  • Familiarity with the metric system
  • Motivated with a demonstrated positive attitude

Raytheon ELCAN offers a competitive compensation package that includes incentive program, benefits, and pension plan.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal reference check and obtain/maintain a Government of Canada security clearance and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.
