Outside Sales Representative

Waymarker Hospitality is looking for an experienced, career-minded Outside Sales Representativeto be responsible for achieving a high level of success in the sales of products and packages for our hotels & restaurants.

This is a hybrid remote and in-person position. Work remotely from a home office or personal space with onsite (in Waterton Lakes National Park) presence expected on a weekly basis.

This individual will be responsible for catering to the needs of existing clients and develop new corporate relationships to generate revenue. Integrity, passion, and in-person presentational skills are essential for this role.

Experience with booking corporate events, weddings, Christmas parties, etc. an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Email and Phone Correspondence, Groups Calendar
• Work with Area Groups team on Events Calendar
• Work with Property Management Systems (WebRez and Room Master)
• Process Payments for Groups/Events
• Maintain filing and Sales Reports
• Make and distribute any promotional materials to the appropriate locations
• Help in event set up and tear down
• Wedding or Group consultations, showing the property, answering questions about what’s included, cost, alternate plans etc.
• Complete, organize and maintain agreements and contracts between company clients and contractors.

Requirements

· University degree or an acceptable combination of education and work experience.

· Strong Computer skills are necessary

· Ability to enforce new sales operations, techniques, policies, and strategies.

· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

· Ability to coordinate and organize events.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
