Reporting to the Director, Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Sales, the Outside Sales Representative is responsible for account management of assigned accounts, including, price negotiation, sourcing special product, relationship building and qualifying new business.
Your role
- Representing the Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Customer Base
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships to increase retention and satisfaction
- Identifying new business opportunities by seeking sales growth.
- Sales development with new customers through a process of prospecting, qualification and follow-up to offer our products and services
- Providing a prospecting pipeline
- Understanding the needs of our customers in order to advise them and establish a relationship of trust to promote our products and services
- Keep abreast of our products and novelty, prices and solutions as well as those of our competitors
- Perform product submissions and maintain the status of each of your earnings and losses
- Working with co-workers on the road and pro counters
- Submit a weekly report of your sales development and ongoing activities in your sector
- Goals and performance - Targets are based on the number of sales and account openings
- Performance Rating Point - Growth in Sales and Margin of Existing Customers - Number of New Accounts and Sales Growth - Assiduity in Your Tracking and Reporting
- An evaluation of your clients' portfolios will be carried out to ensure that everyone is covered.
- A new customer will be assigned to you in MMS following your meeting with MMS for the opening of its account and you will be in charge of growing its sales.
- For an existing account: an account growth related to your shares will need to be demonstrated for the account to be assigned to you in MMS.
The qualifications we are looking for:
- At least 5 years of sales experience
- Good knowledge of building renovation and maintenance products (Mandatory)
- Good software control of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
- Ability to use computer systems: inventory, orders, rental, etc.
- Ability to listen, question, analyze customer needs
- Ability to advise to gain customer's trust in the purpose of selling products and services and retaining him
- Distinguished by good judgment and initiative
- Able to learn and take responsibility
- Autonomous and has a sense of organization and detail
- Distinguished by his quick with and a good team spirit
