Internship Description:
We are excited to offer a Paid Internship opportunity for a diligent and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Junior Insolvency Administrator. This internship provides a valuable learning experience in the field of insolvency administration, working closely with our team of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior insolvency administrators with the preparation and filing of bankruptcy and consumer proposal documents.
- Conducting research and gathering relevant information for client cases.
- Communicating with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders through various channels.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client files and documentation.
- Providing general administrative support to the insolvency team as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Accounting).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Knowledge of insolvency processes and regulations is an asset but not mandatory.
Working Hours: This is a part-time Paid Internship, requiring approximately 20 hours per week. The candidate must be available to work during regular business hours and able to come into the office located at 1180 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4J 1M3.
Possibility for Full-Time Extension: At the conclusion of the initial three-month internship period, there is a potential opportunity for this position to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
