Parent Seed Facility Assistant

HyTech Production Ltd. is seeking a Parent Seed Facility Assistant to work with the Parent Seed Facility Coordinator in managing warehouse and site activities. Extended work hours may be required. This is a contract position ending April 30, 2024

Duties Include:

• Operation of small volume seed cleaning equipment
• Assisting with other processing activities (treating, bagging, palletizing, etc.)
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facility in general
• Inventory management and record keeping
• Loading and receiving shipments
• Sample collection as required

Key Qualifications:

• A valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift up to 25 kg (50lbs)
• Valid forklift license
• Accurate record keeping and ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail is critical

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Salary: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
