Role and Responsibilities
In this position, the following will be some of your roles and responsibilities:
- Receptionist
- Answer phone calls and engage with clients in a friendly and reassuring manner
- Respond to emails
- Assign new clients to therapists
- Client scheduling changes
- Data entry
- Administrative projects
- Office clean up and organization
- Administrative support to the Therapy Heals team
- Administrative support to all therapists
Cover vacation and days off for the other Admin Staff.
Work Hours to be determined with some flexibility - 16 to 20 hours per week between the hours of 8:30 - 4:30 Monday to Friday
The following qualities will be expected:
- Knowledge of Microsoft, windows, and comfort learning new software
- Capacity to learn some complex and multi-faceted principles and practices
- Capacity to work in a fast - paced environment
- Capacity and willingness to work alone and independently
- Friendly and reassuring manner
- Very personable
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Work Experience:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in an Office Administration position.
- Experience in a social service or community-based agency is an asset.
Education:
Minimum requirement - Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration, or equivalent.
Diploma in social service field or equivalent is an asset.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: $19.50-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
