***Job Summary***
Oji Seichi is seeking a seasonal, part-time Server (from May/June - November). As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our guests. Your main responsibility will be to greet/welcome guests, take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction. ***Responsibilities***
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system (Lightspeed) accurately
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their dining experience
- Assist with cleaning and resetting tables for the next guests
- Process payments accurately
- Cleaning the restaurant after closing
***Skills***
To succeed in this role, you shoudl possess the following skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate the guests needs in order to provide excellent guest experiences
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple roles while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of steps of service and restaurant procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
