Parts Technician

We are currently looking for a Parts Person who is experienced and detail orientated to join our team in our Edmonton office. We are a certified Amvic & CVIP repair facility.
· MUST HAVE – Parts Technician Experience minimum 1 year with *heavy equipment/trucks* (Kenworth, Cummins, Freightliner, Detroit, CAT, MACK, Western Star, Peterbilt and Sterling etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the shop foreman and mechanics to optimize costs and enhance efficiency.
- Manage inventory and order parts as needed for oilfield truck maintenance.
- Ensure timely availability of parts to minimize downtime for the fleet.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers for competitive pricing and timely deliveries.
- Assist in implementing cost-effective solutions for maintenance and repairs.
- Physical ability to perform medium to heavy duty manual labour in regards to truck and trailer parts, including reaching top shelves with the aid of a ladder and truck part inventory control.
- Any other duties as set forth by Management.
- Experience in Axon Trucking Software would be an asset
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Drivers’ License
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Parts Technician in the oilfield or trucking industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of oilfield truck components and maintenance processes.
